1 Introduction
Welcome to the HEBAH website, which is operated by HEBAH Corporation and its subsidiaries or subsidiaries, its agents and service providers, collectively.
HEBAH provides a platform through its website www.hebah4change.com where users can create a fundraising campaign and accept financial donations and pledge donations either on a “recurring donations” or a one-time basis.
This Policy explains and governs how and why we collect, use, share, process and protect information accumulated in the course of our Services.
Before using or submitting any information through or in connection with the HEBAH Platform, please review this policy carefully.
By using any part of the Services, User consents to the collection, use and disclosure of your information as described in this Policy to the extent permitted by law.
HEBAH is committed to protecting and respecting user privacy.
- Information collected: When you use the HEBAH Services, personal information about the user is received and collected. This information is collected in several ways: our website, social media pages and those obtained from other sources. Only personal information that is necessary and relevant to the purposes for which it is used is collected.
a. Information provided directly by the user:
Registration information:
When a user registers for HEBAH Services or opens an account, the user's contact and login details, postal address, country and any information they choose to provide (such as a profile picture, resume, career or profile - description of a case or instances - documents) are collected. supportive or supportive...). This information is provided by him, at HEBAH's request and/or entirely optional.

If HEBAH does not receive this information, the user may not be able to register on the site, list or collect funds, pledge funds for projects, communicate with other members or communicate with us effectively or allow us to comply with our own obligations.
Second: Create a fundraising campaign:
When a fundraising campaign is created, the following information is collected:
- If the user is in the process of creating a fundraising campaign for himself or another beneficiary, he will be asked to register with his real ID and attach a copy of this ID, where HEBAH will collect his name, address, email address, phone number, beneficiary name, job (if any) and bank account information.
- If the user is creating a fundraising campaign in the name and for the benefit of an entity, to raise funds for that entity, he must register using the registered/recognized name of the entity, attaching a copy of the entity’s registration certificate (commercial broadcasting company commercial registration certificate; NGO recognition notice – knowledge and news) certifying that this entity is duly registered and/or recognized under the laws and regulations in force in Lebanon. HEBAH will also collect the Entity's name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address, as well as the registration number and back account information, as well as the name and telephone number of the entity's representative.
The User agrees that he may be contacted by representatives of the Platform and asked to provide additional information or documents relating to the entity you represent, including but not limited to its registration certificate, its financial registration certificate and its financial reports.
When you create a campaign, HEBAH also collects the information it deems necessary to provide in connection with that campaign. For example, he can provide a campaign title, campaign category selection, upload photos, description of his campaign goal(s), and any other supporting or supporting documents.
HEBAH payment processors, in accordance with an agreement signed between the two parties separately, collect and retain information related to the user's bank account (the donor) such as his bank account name, bank name, bank address, IBAN, SWIFT and account currency, and withdraw and transfer funds from such user's bank account, according to a method or mechanism Payment or transfer available, to HEBAH account.
The bank account must be in the name of the campaign organizer, whether the latter is a natural person or an entity (legal).
Third. Donation information:
When making a donation to a fundraising campaign, HEBAH collects the donor's contact details (such as name and email address), zip code, country and any other information you wish to provide (such as a description of why you donated).
HEBAH payment processors collect the donor's credit card or card details and other information requested or needed in order to process the donation.
Fourthly. Communications:
The user may post comments, leave comments, send thank-you notes, and communicate with other users through the HEBAH Platform, and all content, including any comments, comments, and feedback he chooses to post through this platform, is publicly available by default. The user may also contact us via e-mail or any other means. For example, to inquire about platform services, for customer support or to let us know his ideas for new products or modifications to existing products. In doing so, we collect the information the user chooses to provide us with, such as their contact details, any images they choose to upload, and the contents and nature of their message.
Please remember that any information disclosed in these areas becomes public information for us and other users to use and share. Please be considerate and respectful of others while using the community/others to share opinions raised or circulated. HEBAH reserves the right, but is not obligated, to review and monitor such posting or any other content on its Services, and to remove Postings or Content that may be deemed inappropriate or offensive to others.
V. Information about third parties:
The user may choose to provide the HEBAH Platform with information regarding third parties. if he uses any feature of the Services that allows him to communicate with third parties (such as referring a third party to the Services or communicating with them about a campaign or donation), either by submitting third-party data to the Services or allowing the Services to automatically access third-party data in his possession, It acknowledges and agrees that it has the authority or authorization to access and use relevant third party data and that it has informed these third parties and how their information is collected and used by HEBAH to provide the Services.
The third party data is used to (i) contact that third party using the third party data provided, and/or (ii) provide the user with a form, editable message designed to facilitate communication between him and that third party through the Services.
In addition to sending the foregoing communications, the Platform may also send reminders or related messages to the User and to third parties on their behalf from time to time where permitted by applicable law. In each case, any such communications sent to third parties using third party data will provide a means to "opt-out" from receiving other communications of a similar nature.

The User may also, voluntarily and if doing so helps achieve the objectives of the Campaign, provide us with information about him or herself or third parties considered sensitive and/or accurate, such as political opinions, information related to health or religious beliefs. When you provide this information to us directly, we may ask for their consent and, as appropriate, edit or remove content from the content and in our sole discretion, to process such information, unless we choose to provide such information to be publicly published in connection with their campaign, donation or otherwise.
HEBAH collects the information listed in this section for the purposes described below in the "Our Use of Collected Information" section. Although the User is not obligated to provide us with this information, if they choose to withhold this information, we may not be able to provide them with some or all of the Services.
Please note that we do not knowingly collect personal and sensitive information about recipients or donors or personal data that is considered “sensitive data” from a legal perspective or related to criminal convictions or offences. The user (campaign organizer, beneficiary, donor...) may be invited to complete an optional survey in which age, race, disability and other information is collected at the time of project and/or campaign creation. This data may be shared with other partners. However, please do not provide any sensitive data or information about cases related to people or children that are not related or unnecessary and do not serve the objectives and activities of the campaign either directly or by posting it on the HEBAH platform website and if we receive this type of information, it will be deleted immediately.
B. Information Collected Passively or Automatically:
1. Device information and usage:
When a user interacts with HEBAH through the Services, we automatically receive and store certain information from the devices they use to access the Services. This information is collected through the use of various technologies and includes the type of Internet browser or mobile device they are using, which website you accessed the Services from, the operating system and location data through an IP address that identifies the city and state they live in. and log in to the Platform or its precise geographic location if it has allowed its mobile device to provide us (the Platform) with such information. HEBAH either stores this information itself or this information is included in databases owned and maintained by HEBAH, its agents or service providers.
HEBAH's Use of Information Collected
The files and documents related to the campaign that are uploaded by the campaign organizer, entity or association) may be available to the public or only to the donor after he has made a donation. It is up to the user (the campaign organizer or the donor) to choose and specify the information and data contained within the prepared and/or publicly accessible content. Note that HEBAH retains the absolute right to use and process the content, including files, personal data, information and documents of all kinds, according to what it deems appropriate and in accordance with what serves the objectives and activities of HEBAH such as organizing statistics or granting them to international organizations. In any case, HEBAH does not bear any liability whatsoever in connection with the misuse of data and/or content by third parties.
a. Communicate with the user
The information collected is used to contact the user for administrative purposes (eg to provide services and information requested by him or to respond to comments and questions).
The information collected is also used to send the user communications about services, such as updates to promotions and events, communications about products and services offered by us and by third parties, and communications about services we think will be of interest to them. . For example, it can send periodic emails to registered users of the Services regarding their recent interactions with the Services, such as donating to a campaign or "listening" to a campaign.
Mobile Services: If the User accesses the Services through a mobile device and if he chooses to provide us with his mobile phone number or any other electronic means for his mobile device, he agrees that we can communicate with him by SMS, MMS or text messages. Or any other means, and in the event that his mobile phone number is changed or deactivated, he agrees to update his information immediately to ensure that his messages are not misdirected.
b- Providing services
We use the information we collect to operate, maintain and provide our Services such as enabling access to the Platform, customer support, or completing transactions.
c. Analytics and product development
We use the information we collect to analyze data usage trends and preferences in order to improve the accuracy, effectiveness, security, usability or popularity of our services via the HEBAH Platform.
(d) To fulfill contractual obligations:
We will use your personal user information when it is necessary for us to perform the contract with him or to carry out any pre-contract steps requested by us in order to be able to enter into this contract, for the following purposes:
• to register and set up as a member on our site;
• to publish details of his pledges (unless he chooses to pledge anonymously), projects and rewards he wishes to offer;
• to process its undertakings and to share its details with payment processors via the Platform so that payments can be made from it;
• to share his personal information with our funding partners to obtain funding for his projects;
(2) When necessary to protect a legitimate interest:
We may use and process your personal user information when it is necessary for us to pursue certain legitimate interests for example:
• To prevent fraud and other criminal activities.
• to verify the accuracy of the data we hold and to better understand the user as an account holder or visitor;
for network and information security so that we can take steps to protect information from loss, damage, theft or unauthorized access, including archiving, destroying or anonymizing one's personal information;
• to enforce or protect our contractual or other legal rights or to bring or defend legal claims;
• to inform him of updates to our terms, conditions and policies;

HEBAH uses the information collected to defend its legal rights, to comply with applicable local or international laws and to enforce the Terms of Service and this Policy.
B. Subsidiaries:
We share your personal information among HEBAH entities, including its affiliates or contractors, in order to provide their services including: hosting, marketing and advertising campaigns; supply and customer support; managing funds in relation to campaigns or challenges; Certification of donors; send communications to you; and conduct other activities described in this policy.
Agents, Consultants, Suppliers and Related Third Parties:
HEBAH sometimes hires or contracts with other companies to perform certain business-related functions on their behalf, and provides the User with access to or share their information with these companies so that they can perform the Services. Examples of these functions include postal information, data storage, security, fraud prevention, payment processing, legal services, and database maintenance. Personal information provided by HEBAH to these service providers is limited to what is reasonably necessary for them to perform their functions, and they are required to fully agree to keep such information confidential.
D- Legal Requirements:
HEBAH may access, disclose, transfer and retain User Information when it is believed in good faith that doing so is necessary to:
(i) comply with the law including orders, court rulings and other legal process; respond to inquiries or requests from government, regulators, law enforcement, public authorities or content protection organizations;
(ii) protect and defend the legal rights, privacy, safety, or property of HEBAH SA, its affiliates or committees, employees, agents, contractors, or its users;
(iii) allow us to pursue available remedies, or to initiate, participate in or defend litigation in accordance with the agreed litigation mechanism (arbitration), or limit the damages to which we may suffer; or (iv) enforce this Policy or any applicable Terms of Service.
F. User Consent
We may share user information with third parties for example, with organizations or third parties to arrange and set up specific campaigns.

Our Services are not designed for use by individuals under the age of 16. If the user is under 16 years of age, please do not use the Services and/or submit any information through the Services. If the User has reason to believe that a child under the age of 16 has provided personal information to HEBAH through the Services, please contact us at info@hebah.com, and we will delete such information from our databases to the extent required by law.
This policy applies to the Services only. The Services may contain links to other websites that are not operated or controlled by HEBA.
The rules, principles, policies and procedures referenced herein do not apply to third party websites. Links through the Services do not imply that HEBAH endorses or reviews the third-party websites. The user should contact these sites directly to obtain information about their respective privacy policies.
Safety
HEBAH implements technical and organizational security measures to protect information provided via the Services from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. For example, HEBAH limits access to information to employees and authorized service providers who need to know such information for the purposes described in this policy. However, no transmission over the Internet or email is completely secure or error-free. In particular, email sent to or from the Services may not be secure. Therefore, the user should pay close attention to this when determining the information that he sends to us by e-mail. Do Not Track Signals
Do Not Track ("DNT") is a privacy preference that users can set in certain web browsers. Retention of user information
We will retain information only for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to the extent permitted or required by applicable laws, or if it serves HEBAH's activities and objectives.
User rights and choices
The user can access and correct certain information about him by visiting the “Account Settings” section of the HEBAH platform. He can also control whether some information he publishes on the Services is publicly available to others, by modifying the settings in his account. It may also request in writing a copy of the personal information about you that we hold about you. If this information is inaccurate, please let us know and we will endeavor to make the necessary adjustments and/or delete or withhold the relevant information in accordance with your request.
Users from outside the Republic of Lebanon
The platform is hosted in the Lebanese Republic. If you are visiting the Platform from outside the Republic of Lebanon, please be aware that user information may be transferred, stored and processed in the Republic of Lebanon where the servers are located and the central database of the Platform is operated. The data protection and other laws of the Republic of Lebanon may not be the same or compatible with the laws of other countries. By using the Platform, the User agrees to the transfer of his information to his facilities and to the facilities of those third parties with whom he shares the HEBAH Platform as described in this Policy.
If at any time the user does not wish to receive any future marketing communications or if they wish to have their name removed from our mailing lists, please contact the Platform at the email address or postal address indicated above. For their privacy and security, at our discretion, we may require the User to provide their identity before providing the requested information. Please note that it may take up to 30 days to fulfill these requests.
Changes to our Privacy Notice
HEBAH reserves the right to periodically update or modify this Policy at any time. The User will be notified of any updates, changes or modifications made by HEBAH to this Policy. If the User does not agree to HEBAH's review and/or modification of the Privacy Policy, they may deactivate their account or stop using their Services.
